Lee Hamer

Lee came to Bennetts in 2001 and became a partner in 2007. Lee acts for both private and business clients, primarily owner-managed businesses. As such Lee is able to advise on a broad range of issues affecting businesses, from start-up to dissolution and his practice emphasises on commercial litigation and dispute resolution work, either through court proceedings or mediation.

Lee is particularly interested in and specialises in, disputes between partners and shareholders/directors to include claims involving breach of fiduciary duty, minority shareholder’s actions, and professional negligence actions.

Lee also undertakes complex Chancery work for private clients, with considerable experience in Inheritance Act claims, Proprietary Estoppel claims, Financial Relief proceedings, contentious Trust and Probate disputes, as well as TLATA, claims; frequently for clients with substantial and/or business assets.

He is a member of the Bristol Law Society and the Professional Negligence Lawyers’ Association..
